W203 Instrument cluster follow up for Malcolm

I posted a recent thread (30th November) regarding missing pixels on my C class w203 instrument cluster. Television (Malcolm) was kind enough to give me advice and I responded with a suplementary question yet to be answered. Can anyone help.....

I said......Thank you for your reply. I have seen this advice given whilst researching this problem over the last few weeks. Do you mean the multi connector on the back of the cluster or are there other connectors inside the cluster which I will find if I remove it and strip it down?

Is this the same issue Malcolm?
the 210 cluster temp and clock displays certainly (very well known) - but the issue here is the centre display on the early 203 dash which is less common. I guess it could be the same root cause but as it's rarer, I wonder...

Thanks fellas....... This is what I found inside the cluster. No evidence found of bad connections. What comes off where and what to do to make better contacts? Any help appreciated. Thanks
