W203 Radio fault (I think!)

I have recently had a new Audio 10 radio fitted to my C270 CDI and it works fine except for one thing. Occasionally when I turn the ignition off with the radio left on and then turn The ignition back on again the radio seems to be in mute mode in that the radio is on but there is no sound from it. If i turn the redio of and then back on again it is fine!
Have I missed something in the set up instructions or is it some MB plan to save my ears being blasted!

It could be a bit dicky. I had my Audio 10 crash a couple of times and needed to pull the fuse to get it to behave again.

Do as Jberks says, it could work and does on many faults
