w203 rear tyre size ?

hi i have 8.5 / 18 ronal mercedes wheels with a et30 offset on my car can anyone tell me if 255/35/18 will clear the arches etc the car is on standard suspension. thanks:

The ET is correct

You can have 225 x 40 x 18 on the front and the rear or you can fit 245 x 35 x 18 on the rear.

The 255 are not correct and a little over sized but OK on 9.5J rims

hi yes these are the sizes i have at the moment but i was hoping to change the rear size due to the cost of that particular size. thanks

I see that the 202 uses a 255 tyre on 8.5j rims so why not then on yours.

Just check the clearance from the side of the tyre to the edge of the wing inside, the difference is only 5 mm
