W203 recirculating air flap actuator

Hi Guys, I am a one man operation servicing & repairing Porsche, BMW & Mercedes in Tasmania Australia. I have a 2003 W203 C180 komp 271 engine here at the moment that keeps setting DTC P2034 (recirculating air flap actuator actual value potentiometer signal two low). As the actuator is very expensive & very dificult to get to for further testing I am hoping some one has had this before & can offer some advice. It is quite difficult getting this type of info in this part of the world.

The customer reported no driveability problems just the check engine light on.

this is a good way to go....

but that reset is step one, tell the customer something like `these spurious anomalies do crop up from time to time, it was probably just a transient glitch and may never happen again`
