So, i've got this 2008 C220 CDI that has been at the workshop for about three months now. It all started when i went to get a leak on the second cylinder injector fixed. It should've been an easy job, but when i came back later that day my car was just shaking at startup, but i tought it was because it was standing in a downhill. I then started driving home, and when i braked coming into an intersection, the car went into limp mode. Then i found a place to stop, and the car just stalled (yes, it's an automatic). I struggeled to get it back on, but when i eventually did nothing worked and it instantly went into limp mode again.

The following day i went back to the workshop, and three months later the car is still not any better. The codes they got suggested that there were something wrong with the voltage for the second injector. They tested the injector and concluded it wasn't the injector itself, but the wireing. They changed the cables, and nothing changed. They then proceeded to swap the ECU, with no luck.
So basically now they think it's a random wire somewhere in the car, which can take days to find. And if they eventually find it they most likely has to change the entire "wiresystem". If that's the case, i might just have to scrap the car, because the job itself will cost way too much to the actual value of the car.

So my question is this: Has anybody any expirience with this? All advice and ideas are appreciated, it's my first car and the car i learned to drive in, so scrapping it will be like losing a child. Thanks!

    Basic rule of thumb:
If it was running ok (with an injector leak) before they touched it and isn't after the injector was changed then it's the last thing they touched.
I'd suggest the injector is bad/wrong/not set up correctly.
    Find a better mechanic.

As an aside what codes are they getting and what are they using to read them?

Well it would make sense if they messed up the injector itself, but they claims to have tested the injector and that it should be flne.
The code i got was P2150, "Fuel Injector group B supply voltage circuit." I'm assuming they were getting the same code, but i have no idea what they are using to read them.
