W204 c-class Hand brake fully depressed to floor

Need some help people.
W204 has the hand break peddle for right to the flow and now won’t come back up ! Any ideas ?

Pull and hold the release lever wihle digging it up and pulling it up with your foot (or other hand).

Then investigate cause of broken brake pedal, possibly broken cable, or broken adjuster

Or the pins in the hub have snapped, happens sometimes.

So took the carpet up and took out the break pedal. Cable is slack down the pipe but not that I can pull out. Have ordered a new cable just in case (£15) and will get it up on my mates ramps and get a look underneath. Least I’ll be prepared mostly...

Love it called a "hand break" when, in reality, it is a "parking brake" operated by a foot:)

Lets put this to bed... Break is when something is broken , ie you want to break my neck for correcting you ;)
.. Brake is what you apply to stop the car !
