W204 C250 low power, no kickdown diagnosis.

Hi all got a C250 coupe, 2013. Auto.

Had the engine management light come on, low power, no kickdown. If I accelerate hard revs wont go much above 2200rpm, and dont drop much below 2 either while driving unless i slow to a stop.

Gonna try and get it into the garage later this week to look at fault codes.

Any pre thoughts on what could be causing this?

It’s in limp mode to protect the car . It’s a big list of things it could be , so best wait for a fault code diagnosis first .

Do you still have Mobilio breakdown cover ?

I had the same on my 2013 cls250 two weeks ago it was a split turbo boost pipe, cost me £240 at my Indi

Finally managed to get the codes scanned by a friend of mine. This is what shows up.

P2463-09 The soot content of the Particulate filter is not OK. There is a component fault. - Current, Pending, Stored

P2454-15 the input for differential pressure sensor 1 in the Particulate filter has a short circuit to ground. There is a short circuit to ground or an open circuit - Pending, Stored

Will this need to go into a Merc specialist or is it likely to be something that I can put right myself?
