can anyone help?
I have a 2010 c class. the headlining seems to have come adrift just above the rear window .I can feel what seems like a couple of clips on the underside of the lining and a couple of fixings stuck on the underside of the roof where I presume they clip into but I cant clip the lining back in place.am I doing something wrong or is it just fiddly to reattach it. would be greatful for any help .thanks.

All I can do is to look up the fitting instruction when I turn on.

@LostKiwi perfect. Looks a big job to remove all the fixing and wiring. So start at the rear when re installing?

If this is anything like my Viano (and it looks the same) the headlining is attached to the car with velcro type strips.

Merc use double sided tape to attach the velcro to metal brackets on the headlining and this tape is the point of failure. The velco becomes un-stuck from the tape.

I cleaned up all the velcro, removed any double sided tape residue and stuck the velcro onto the metal headlining brackets using a product called 'Stixall'.

This is a pic of my Viano. The grey squares are where the velcro has become un-stuck (80%+ of the headlining). The black squares on the left of the phot are where I had previously instigated a repair, and these have stuck firm.
