W204 Should I Remove DPF Filter ?

Hi guys ,
I'm outside UK, and in my country there is no restriction to prevent DPF removal or to drive without it. In many other cars like VW Golf have removed it,
Is it worth to remove it in MBenz like do I get more performance, low fuel consumption .... If someone has removed it tell me his impressions ?

IS it broken? If not, leave it in. You will not gain any performance or fuel economy.

Why do you want to remove it. I am no tree hugger, but it serves a purpose.

They do an adequate job of removing harmful particles when working as intended. Leave it in if it is OK as others say, there are no discernable benefits gained in removing it.
