Looking for help, I've just changed the battery on my clk 320 and it now has a slightly lumpy tickover and when I increase the revs it picks up until about 4200 rpm and then runs like half the plug leads have been taken off!
When I took it out to try it in drive it pulled away and seemed OK but when I tried to use the kickdown it seemed to stutter and then almost stop. I turned the ignition off then started it again and it ran better till I tried to extract some power from it, then it went rough again. Ideas please guys!

Many thanks 'television' and Prestige, sourced an Air Mass sensor from a factors, genuine Bosch and fitted it, together with new air filter and car is up and running again. Also my local Merc Commercial dealer kindly accessed MB records and got my Radio code so that works too! Another happy bunny!!!!
