Hi All,

After a little guidance.

Was driving along enjoying the delights of the car, when all of a sudden the dashboard display and warning lights lite up like a Christmas telling me that I had problems with the ESP, ABS & BAS and a trip to the workshop was needed.

Not having previously driven a car with the same sort of controls and computer systems I am a little worried to say the least!!!!!!

When I stop and turn off the ignition the dispaly confirms "3 malfunctions".

However, when I switch the ignition back on the car tells me that there are no problems but the problem does come back. There is no set time or distance I travel before the "problem" re-occurs but it is within a relatively short distance but not immediately.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Evening all,

Well the probs been fixed but unfortunately it wasn't the brake light switch.

I have a good friend who is a MB Tech and that what was he said it was likely to be.

Managed to get it looked and after fault code checking it actually turned out to be a faulty steering angle sensor.

A few quid lighter but a safe car to drive.
