- CLK 2002 200Komp
Hi,
I have a 2002 CLK 200 Kompressor, W208.
The MAF needs replaced, or cleaned at least (I guess)
I have a replacement MAF but I don't know how to remove the MAF.
I've read the DIY thread "How to clean your MAF" but it's for an E300 diesel I think, so the CLK is different.
For example, the MAF on the CLK W208 is on the other side of the engine from the air filter, and there are torque clips which need to be loosened (no jubilee clips) and I've no clue how to lossen them
Questions:
1. What are the steps involved
2. Do I need special tools
3. Does anyone have any pictures?
4. Is it too big a job for a novice?
5. If so, how long should it take a mechanic and how much should I expect to pay?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
