Morning Team,
I have a CLK 200K, 2008 model. When I open the boot with either the key or the door mounted switch it just pops open an inch or so, it doesn't open up fully. I know it's not a big deal but I regularly approach the car with heavy items which I then have to juggle to get the boot open and dump stuff inside.

Any help on resolving please? Rob

You can adjust the springs inside the boot, take a look and you will see there are 2 or 3 mounting points for the spring, just move it to the next one.

Hi Russ,
Had fun getting the trim off and back on again, it's a bit awkward with the shape of a CLK. However, found the spring adjustment and it pops open now.

Many thanks, Rob
