Is there a cup holder on this model and if not can someone recommend and after fit please. I am useless without my coffee on the way to work in the mornings .

Many models don't have cup holders as standard in the UK but I would imagine there is one available for it. I bought one for my E class - a proper MB unit that fits away in the centre console and opens up, transformers style when you need it, and hidden when you don't. Ask at your local dealer - the E class ones are around £50.

Hi Kesam1 and welcome. there are some very knowledgable senior members here who are very helpful. The cup holder in my CLK is to the roght of the glove compartment. Square shapre piece of the dash that you push in and then it pops out. It is not very useful for holding cups. I bought a cheap one from Halfords and attached it an air vent with some black wire. Crude but effective as I need my coffee too.

I have one on mine, can't say it has ever given me any problems.
There are also 2 in the armrest between the back seats if you drink a lot of coffee at the one time. :D

I think they changed the dash in 2004 - I have the facelift model.
It has one cupholder at the front and 2 in the armrest at the back.
A 2nd in the front would be useful.
I have no knowledge about the pre-facelift mode.

I think the cup holder in the front was an option. That space to the right of the glove box being either a cup holder or a draw for change etc. Mine has the draw but I wish it had the cup holder, why they couldn't have continued with the robot like one that used to be in the W208's is beyond me.

Yes you are right, that is an optional extra believe it or not!!

Quite discreet though, you wouldn't know it was even there.

Hello, I searched Halfords site but couldn't find what you mentioned below. can you please share a link? or a picture of cup holder. is it holding well btw? any issue when braking etc? I don't want to burn myself when driving.
many thanks, Utkan

Front Cupholder can be retrofitted into the Card tray, however its a half a dashboard out jobby. I did it on mine.
