Hi,

The electric driver's seat in my 2003 W209 CLK has suddenly stopped working completely. It doesn't move forward/back, doesn't tilt, and the headrest doesn't move either. The headrest has also stopped going down when the seat is pushed forward to get in the rear of the car. All was working ok before. Passenger seat is fine. I've checked the fuses and they are ok.

Any clues what to check next please? They are memory seats, in case that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

Got it working (till next time!) Wobbling the two multi-way connectors under the front of the seat did the trick.

Thats good, these plugs are normally a very tight fit and locked in.

Thanks Malcolm. Yes they were pretty tight still and had not come detached, so perhaps a dodgy connection on one of the wires. I realise now I hoovered the car yesterday and it probably got knocked then!
