I have a CLK with the poor mans thermatic controls (non climate) that seems unresponsive when in Auto mode. The fan is blowing on a constant low setting when varied from 19 to 25C and does not pick up in speed to help the cabin reach temperature when adjusted from one extreme to another.
However, on the very lowest and highest settings (min 18 and max 26C), the fan picks up to a high setting as it should. In manual mode the fan works on all speeds and the flaps operate all of the vents as they should.
Sounds like a temp sensor problem of some kind.
Anyone heard of a resolution to this ?
