My facelift model W210 2.4 V6 is having problems. Originally started losing power and going into limp mode after about 10 minutes running. Fully charging the battery cured this temporarily. The problem has returned but has got steadily worse. Now the car will start and settle to a rough idle but will not accelerate. Pressing the accelerator pedal gives no response. Letting the engine warm up a little gives a small throttle response enough to move the car in and out of the garage.
I have had the usual problems of CPS failing and the brake light switch causing gear selection problems in the past. Both of which have been replaced successfully.
Any ideas?

Have you had codes read?
You'll probably need something that can connect to the 38pin diagnostic port under the bonnet.

No, only the engine codes from a basic OBD2 reader. I am waiting to buy a iCarsoft MB V 1.0 with adapter for the 38 pin Mercedes STAR connector. It should give me codes from ABS, fuel, gearbox etc.
The codes I am getting are P0300, P0301, P0302 to P0306. Multliple misfires on all cylinders.
