Hi folks,
After 18 months of searching for the hens-tooth that is an early W210 climate blower regulator, I bought one for a W140 from Ebay on Sunday, it arrived today, and after following the instruction here:-

I now have a fully working blower Yippee! - The regulator that arrived had a larger heat sink on the base which needed cutting back to size, but at £44 inc postage it was certainly cheaper than the over £400 MB was quoting for an updated blower assembly!
