Hi all
Please can someone throw a little light onto a couple of problems that have occurred on the 320CDI

1) At various speeds the whole car seems to vibrate for a few seconds and then stop again. I have had all wheels balanced and tyres checked.
2) Once the engine is hot I lose kickdown. I replaced the MAF 15k ago (Pierberg from ECP) so I do not think that this could be the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Get the fault codes read before you start spending money,

The loss of kickdown sounds like a maf, as for the car to vibrate, that could also be a number of things,

Whats the milage???

I have replaced front disks recently, could this be a problem with vibrations?

Disks can cause this, you would only really notice this under braking though,

Changed a few prop donuts on the 210s, they give a good vibrations when on there way out!!

Vibrations do seem to start through floorpan before reaching the steering wheel.
Would prop vibration clear itself after a few seconds?

Are MAF's only good for 12 months? Seems a bit of a short lifespan for a component!
PS the last MAF failure did not show on fault codes

It could be a torque converter vibration?although 210s dont seem to suffer too much.
