Hope this is in the right place and makes sense. Apologies if not!
I've inherited a 1997 W210 E280 6 cylinder auto. 201k miles and two previous owners. Its been used regularly I'd say its in fair condition for age but does have a few things to sort: a few signs of rust (has had work done to rectify previously), reluctant/clunky gear box when cold (presumably would benefit from new oil & filter), bit of an engine oil leak, cloudy headlamp lens (can be polished out?) & grumbling brakes (I'm told pads and discs are okay but there is some lipping).
In an ideal world i'd keep the car, but as i'm mindful of costs, not mechanical and lacking time and a garage its probably not viable.
Question is: how much of a demand/market for this vehicle is there? Also, would it be worth rectifying any of the above mentioned issues prior to putting up for sale?
TIA.
