Hello all,

I've got a couple of irritating issues with my 97 E300TD at the moment. I've had a dodgy passenger window that has been intermittently responding ever since I've had the car. I've also had starting problems the whole time - the car seems to charge the battery fine and the battery is a new 98Ah one but on random occasions if left for 2 days it doesn't start at all and the battery reads about 10v. Do you think that a dodgy door control module can be the caus e of a battery drain? It's driving me mad.....

Cheers..

The door / seat controllers can do this and a common fault.

by checking the current drain with an ammeter the door controllers can be unplugged to see what one is causing the drain

Thanks Malcolm...I think I'm finally getting closer to the bottom of the problem! Thanks
