W210 E300TD reverse gear problem

Sometimes when in reverse and trying to get over a bump I.e a kerb, the car wont move. Even at full throttle it tops out at about 2500rpm but still wont move. If I have a short run up to the kerb ( just a foot or so) it goes over Ok.
All the forward gears are OK and the gearbox oil was changed recently by an Indy ( not sure if the problem was there before the oil change ) Its not a major issue, but I'd like to know if its something to worry about !

Hi There, First thing , I take it this is an automatic transmission we are talking about. Secondly if this is the case then seeing as you have just had a fluid change then make sure the fluid level is correct. If it is low then you will experience the symptoms you have just mentioned.
