w210 e320 cdi Gearbox Oil Change?

My car has done 78k and is going in for the B service. I have noted various threads about gearbox's playing up, both before and after gearbox oil changes.

My car is driving fine but not had the gearbox oil changed - ever. Should I have it changed in this service?

Also is the fuel filter included in the service costs or an extra item?

Do have the fluid changed and the filter, around £170 from most indies,,best done at 40-60k miles, it makes the car much smoother to drive

Yes absolutely, definatley and don't take 'Its sealed for life Sir' for an answer! If anything it's overdue.

If it's a normal part of a B service (which I believe it is) then yes it should be included in the price.
