where can you adjust this as mine is so soft after just having new ads in needs tightening up


can anyone help

You don’t say if it’s the service or the parking brake that needs the adjustment.

If it’s the parking brake you are talking about the adjustment is underneath above the propshaft at the rear. If it’s the service brake you are talking about there is no adjustment for this they might need bleeding.

Thanks chaps the adjustment was under the panel under the rear seat base easy as anything to do just push a click wheel round a few notches and job done 3 clicks and she holds firm

Thats me away back in high speed pursuits and handbrake turns waheeeeeyyyyyyy

handbrakes at 70 70 are for beginners get it on the grass to 140 and send her on takes you back to wonder waltzer when you were 12, just remember to give her a good jet wash as the mud gets everywhere

ps the farmer gets a likkle pished off with you too, unless its after harvest :p :p

Who fitted your rear pads?

The reason I ask is that the rear caliper pistons should be screwed back in and not just pushed back.

Be careful adjusting up the parking brake cables, you can make it so that the rear brakes bind and before you know it you'll be spending another £30 on pads and possibly discs too.

It's an auto and the parking brake has always been fairly hopeless since I've owned the car.
