W210 glow plug light on

Hi folks
I have a 2002 W210 e220 cdi
My glow plug light stays on however having tested every aspect of the glow plug system it all checks out good.
Can anyone advise where else the problem might be.
Also am right in thinking that as this model does not have the usual engine management light the glow plug light acts as such.

Check the connections on the glow plugs. They are probably a push fit connector, over time the contacts splay apart and don't make a good connection with the glow plug. On the older ones atleast you can open the connector casing up, remove the wire/ contact and squash the contact a bit and clean it with wet and dry.
Engine management would usually show as EPC light I think.

Check the power of the glow system to that glow plug. Which GP is affected?
