A Friend has a BMW 530d, he's just replaced the MAF unit as a matter of course. I think on these engines they don't seem to last for more than 50k miles.
My E320CDi is nearing 95k, it's on the original MAF. When should they be replaced. As I understand it's only a little tiny wire inside that gets hot, so I suppose it must deteriorate over time?
