W210 original stereo

I have recently bought a March 99 W210 E320 Estate. It has a Kenwood after market CD player fitted.

Does anyone know what make/model of ICE would be original equipment?

Hello and welcome,,It would have been an Audio 10 or Audio 30 APS

My 2000 w210 has the Audio 10, however I have never got around to changing it but to me its not a good unit. There must be many better as aftermarket units. The unit I have in the Peugeot [standard original spec] is streets ahead of the Audio 10.

Remember that as far as I know that only an OEM unit will work with the steering wheel buttons (if yours is a post facelift).

There are aftermarket units that can use the steering wheel controls the one make i know of is Alpine, it does require an additional control box though.
I do have for sale a AUDIO 10 Cassette/tuner and a AUDIO 10 CD/Tuner if anyone is interested PM me, also a multi changer that will run on a AUDIO 10 unit.
