My throttle is getting stuck in the half on position.

At first when in park turning it on it starting screaming up the revs and i had to switch off quickly before it redlined.

The throttle springs back from full on to about 30-40% on position but wont go all the way back to the bottom, as if the spring isnt pulling it back all the way.

If i manually twist it back round to its bottom position and switch car on it sits idleing fine but as soon as you throttle is gets stuck in an on position and starts revving up.

Is this just a spring problem?
is the cable sticky?
is the sensor not resetting it back?
I have tried resetting the throttle to no avail.

I have not had any throttle problems before this atall.

thanks

OH, nevermind, the inside trimming from under the steering wheel had somehow come down and got stuck, not allowing the throttle to go back to correct position.

problem solved
