W210 to W211

Thanks in advance - but my local dealer contact doesn't know the answer to this. I'm getting close to trading my 210 for a 211 and am interestd to know if a particular function is on the 211.

I don't know what it is called but the third button down of the three in the centre of the W210 console switched on 'residual' heating when the enfine is switched off - great function if you stop for a pitstop in the cold weather.

Anyone know if its still so on the 211 ???

Also any obvious faults I should look for on a 55 or 06 ?

I have a w211. The function is called 'rest' and is present (button in the middle of the temp setting driver side). Mine is the 2003 model e320.

Having switched from a 210 to a 211, there is nothing standard on a 210 that isn't on a 211.
