w210 window motors

can anyone tell me, are the window motors in a w201 190e specific to the model, or are the same motors fitted to other models (i.e. w123 / w124). only ask as local breakers have w123 and w124 but no w201's. any info would be gratefully received,

yeah the front 201 motors are the same as the 124. not sure about the 123 though.

There is only the 126 and 140 should be the same.

Motors may well be compatible, but be aware the regulator quadrants are different.

Hello Nige,
I presume you are certain you need new motors. I thought I did too but found that I could service them by stripping down and lubricating them. They've worked perfectly since. My cars a C280 but you may find my earlier post on the subject to be useful - I hope so anyway.
