My VIN identifies my transmission as 722699 05 238153. Can anyone tell me what the replacement part code for the O-ring plug? Are the plugs for these transmissions all the same? Thanks in advance.

If MB are a distance away.

Not sure if you could get away with jacking the fr o/s hi to prevent oil loss.
I think i would prefer to drop a couple of litres from the sump and replace with fresh ATF.
You could take the opportunity to replace as much ATF as drops from the sump, and the filter at the same time.
And sump bolts and gasket.

An often overlooked item when changing the ATF for the extra 5 mins work.

make sure you use a torque wrench, its only plastic.
