W211 220CDI Error Code P0183 Fuel Temp sensor

    Replaced the fuel temperature sensor for £18.50 from eBay and enjoyed 1200 trouble free miles since.

    In fact I am certain the car is also more responsive and smoother.

    It is located as I identified above

    I just change the fuel temperature sensor of my w204. It took less than 10 minutes. You can find the detailed location photos below.

    Thanks so much for posting this. Its very clear. I'm having probelms removing the connectorfrom my sensor .. does the gery part of the connector just pull out slightly? Thats what it looks like on one of your photo. Its feels a bit still on mine so I worried that I may snap it if this is not correct..

    You pull it up and it releases the locking tabs.
