W211 and Audio 50 APS

I have MB E220 ST CDI 10/2003 and i need to know if it's possible connect to my Audio 50 APS and DVD player.( i dont need video but i want use sound of the DVD player connected to 50 APS)
What i need?
Can i use the optical connection? The audio 50 APS have this connection?
If it's possible, where i can find the manual install of this Audio 50APS?
