Morning Folks,

I am planning to install a Parrot HF kit into my car, but cannot fathom how to remove the radio and, if necessary, the CD changer below it.

Does anyone have any experience of doing this, and if so could they give me a few pointers how how to remove the radio?

Many Thanks

Richard

Hello again,

have managed to get so far, but have hit a brick wall.

I have taken out the gear surround, ashtray, CD changer, and the top trim between the heater controls and the radio.

...but I cannot now see what is holding the radio in. I presume that there some screws along the top, but cannot see anything.

Malcolm, thanks for sending through the sheets the other day, were great for the cd changer, do you have anything for the radio itself?

Many Thanks

WIS said that you have to remove the trim just above the radio from the passenger side along the airbag until the centre console.

Then you have to remove the ashtray below the radio. Underneath you will find two screws under the radio, then you have to use a wedge shape tool to prise out the radio from the top, as far I remember reading this afternoon.:D

Many Thanks,

The answer was to fuuly undo the screws on the bottom of the radio which in turn release the securing mechanism.

I now have another promlem, another post to follow...

No need to touch these, just the screws on the bottom.
