Hello.
I have a late 2004 E 320 CDI E class estate with the usual suspect Audio system fitted.
It has no Aux input but does have the multi CD unit below the Radio. The unit firmware has no facility for Aux input no matter which combination of button presses one tries.
I have added an Aux input on the single CD channel but performance is so so.
I would like to change the Audio unit for a later Mercedes model but one that offers iPod control possibly via a touch screen. Sat Nav would be a nice touch but is not essential.
Is there anybody out there offering this service or able to code such a unit to my car if I could obtain one? Obviously I am not looking for a new Mercedes retail unit costing ££££'s,
But maybe one removed from a scrapped vehicle.
