W211 Door Mirror indicator lens replace

Hello
the indicator repeator lamp on my 04 E class has been hit by a sone so needs replacement
bought one today and it a lamp assemble , obvoisly fitted from the mirror side
How do you peplace this , i did a search and one reponse was that when folde there is a clip that pull out to releasa the mirror assy
mine doesnt have this
can anyone help please

I believe that the glass on your just prises off from the front, then you need to take the motor out, held with torx screws

Push the glass in at the bottom and see if there is a wire clip running across the top of the glass, if there is not, then you prise the glass and holder out

after taking out the mirror lens and it motor
There is a spring clip at the base of the mirror frame which is visable with the mirror in its folded position , once thw clip is rleased the plastic outer body othe mirror just slides off the base.
It a very clever method , i can see now why its a £50 labour to replace the lamp, but all said the lamp assemble cam with all bulbs and holder and was approx £16 , so not too bad
