Battery replaced yesterday. After I locked the vehicle, the alarm went off maybe four times, eventually I disconnected the battery.

This evening, for silence, I removed fuse F08. Now there's silence, however there's also: no central locking.

Is this (need to manually lock) expected, when the one fuse is removed?

(I imagined removing a fuse that would allow central locking whilst suppressing the alarm.)

Battery in the alarm unit is often a failure issue. Take the alarm apart and you can replace the battery
