My analog clock will not set to the correct time. I've synced with head unit and tried to go through settings. the clock will spin round an round and magically stop on whatever time it wants. i can't even work any logic to it its not just like its set 1 hour behind its just random every time.

MB Bradford said it needs a new instrument cluster, and you guessed correctly not covered by comprehensive unlimited (100k in small print) mileage warranty.

£800 to repair.

£800 for a clock.

However this by a dealership who diagnosed an SRS fault as a new passenger seat bag, i got the car put through diag elsewhere and the fault was relating to a resistance value so cleaned plug and reconnected, fault disappeared.

Your expertise is greatly recieved.

Mine was replaced because the bulb behind the revcounter failed! Mine was under warranty though.
The one for sale looks like a reconditioner so they may be worth talking to though it does sound like it would need parts in which case it probably needs replacing. They will need recoding by the dealer whatever you do though.
