The polished chrome cill plate that runs across the width of the boot on my estate has come loose.

Peeking underneath it seesm the plastic clips have worn or snapped. I need to remve the side uprights panels to allow me free the chrome cover plate.

Does anywayhave experience of this? Can I get replacment clips? How do I get the side panels of?

Also, the interior of the rear boot door seems loose, any ideas on refixing it as I can't see any screws or fixing plugs.

How do i identify the clips, studs or pins that I need to replce when pulling the side panels off. Do these have part numbers, or are they just general clips for the MB

It is seldom that the clips break,,its more often the plastic channels that break. One can often slide them along to grip a new piece of the plastic trim. If it is any broken clips then your MB dealer will have them on his EPC
