Hi guys I have just replaced the injector number 2 seal and now its will crank but not fire. Sometimes it tries to catch but no it just cranks. It will start on east start. Everything is connected properly.

Note I used a injector extractor tool that required unscrewing the top of the injector and threading the tool in the injector but the everything was put but together in the correct order.

Any tips? Thank you

This is your problem. Injectors can only be opened in completely clean environment. You have likely introduced dirt or grit which is causing the injector to leak off the rail pressure. Replace the injector and it will probably fire.

We only open the injectors when we know they will be replaced or refurbished.

I should have used my better judgement and used a different tool which didn't require taken apart the top of the injector. This was the tool.

are you 100% sure you didn't loose anything from the inside on the injector ? I would spill test them to see if they are leaking off too much as Alex has mentioned

I'm sure I took everything off in order and placed them in a tray and then cleaned them before refitting.

ok , a long time ago I did a set of injectors using a puller , on one I didn't notice id lost the tiny ball bearing off the top of an injector , the car obvs failed to start , my local specialist found the issue , you need to spill test them pal

This is the order of what I have to get to lock collar nut inside.

You can also see in the second picture a white ball bearing wedged on the side.
