Hi,
Mercedes E220 CDi 2007 Avantgarde
I hit my n/s mirror on a parked van the other day and managed to crack the Indicator, so i purchased a new one direct from MB. Went to an independent dealer to have it fitted (£45) and was told it wouldn't take long. Mind you, the indicator even though it was cracked still worked fine.
As the were fitting the part they told me the connector had broken as the car was hit and the came free from the wires. The only problem is, you can not buy those connectors and have to buy the complete frame in order to get the connector.
Personally I think they've tried to yank the wire and its come free from the connector and they're just making excuses.
Point is, a replacement frame will cost me £200 for something that was so simple. Is there a quick and cheaper way of fixing this?
