W211 Probably a stupid question but......

Hi
I just recently bought a 2005 W211 E Class. I love it but 1 thing I have noticed is that the display on the stereo (Audio 20), seems to dim occasionally, then get brighter. I assume this is something to do with a light sensor but it sometimes dims in the middle of the day in bright sun light and its difficult to read!
Has anyone else had this problem and/or know how I can stop this happening?

Not stupid .. just dim
Actually happens on my S class occasionally but not enough to worry me..

hello You can turn the dimming feature on in the consumer window and try that, to see if it is the fault
