I have having a similar problem to "lieutenant gruber" with the rear suspension sagging. It has been doing it a while, but intermittently. Sometimes it goes down, and other times it say up. Have had it in a specialist independent who says that there doesn't appear to be any faults, but the pump is just making the lower pressure limit.
My questions are
What controls the pressure to rear struts?
Is there a level sensor for the suspension?
Is it worth having the pump reconditioned or replaced as a first step?
All answers gratefully received, and thanks for taking time to look at this.
Rgds

As you say, I too have zee saggy bottom. Every few days she goes down on me. I suppose my little tank is getting old, and like us all, just cannot keep it up any more.
I'll be getting my bags good and soapy when the weather get a little warmer and looking out for little bubbles. Then I'll be pulling my pump out to change the ring. Have a look at this video Mikedjay
You can buy the pump repair kit from his here http://www.bagpipingandy.com/

I had a second hand one, but new ones on eBay were cheap with 12 minths warranty

Well, decided to bite the bullet and had it all sorted by a newly found independent not far away!

Hopefully the end of the problem....

Have learnt more about the way the car works!!!

Hi AM
Yes, new pump as it was struggling to supply required pressure, and also while at the garage one of the struts went down faster than the other, so got them both changed.
:(
My main fear was that it may have called it quits at an inopportune moment whilst out, so now I can look forward to carefree motoring again.
:)
So far hasn't gone down so hopefully that will be it for now....

EDIT: I ordered the pump repair kit, as seen in the vid, and it arrived the next day. Just need to find time to fit it.

Indeed, that is always the problem.....

Had a door lock problem a while ago, got the repair kits, but took a while to get round to it. And what a fiddly job it was, they must have people with extremely small hands assembling things....

Hope it all goes ok when you get to do it. Looks straight forward on his vid...
