W211 Rear diff output seal

Hi guys has anyone replaced the rear diff output seals before? Mine is leaking on one side and I have to replace the ABS reluctor rings and both sides so its a good opportunity to pull the driveshaft out.

I've done loads of lip seals on stuff at work .... not on a SL's diff though. Ensure the inner part of the seal goes over the shaft evenly .... take care not to disturb the spring bit on the inside. Knock the outer part of the seal in evenly ....

If you get a seal puller tool it's much easier to get the old one out.
