This is a different issue, and not related in the slightest to Dipsticks etc, but I'm at my wits end trying to figure out how to start a new thread.....so apologies in advance. And if some one could put it the correct forum, I'd be grateful !!!
So my present problem arose when I had to remove the rear bumper on my w212 to do some work on the towbar, and this sensor ( see pic) came adrift. It feeds from a longer harness, which in turn is connected to a small plastic box attached to the bumper itself. Apologies for the quality of tghe pic....it was taken during a downpour, which at that point in time was flowing freely down my back as I tried to take pic.
