W212 estate spare wheel

Hi peeps

My recently purchased W212 estate is a 7 seater, with no spare wheel (or jack!)

My old J plate E230 had a spare, and I wondered if a space saver spare will fit under the huge beam support in the back so I can have a spare in the car again?

Has anyone else got this car with a spare wheel?

This is what you would have if you didn’t have the 7 seater

You will a need an air compressor and can of sealant as there isn’t provision behind the boot side panels in the rear wheel wells as far as I know, there isn’t on mine

Thanks Malcolm. Seems odd, as my E230 was 7 seats and had a spare. Not like Mercedes to take a backward step...
