Hi guys need a bit of help regarding a piece of trim from the panoramic sunroof.
The trim that holds the wind deflector in place at the very front has come off and although I have tried all sorts of angles and positions to slot it back in it doesn't fit and just pops off again when I let go. I bought the car like this so I don't really know how it happened. Has anyone had this issue before or know how it should be assembled?

Thanks in advance!

Just took the whole wind deflector off and it looks like I would have to remove the front glass portion of the pana roof to refit the bit that came off which looks a pain in the backside!
I may just do without the wind deflector as that's it's only purposes think, it doesn't look like it acts as a seal or anything....

If it's not too much trouble that would be good Malcolm. I may try and fix it if it isn't too big a job, if not I'll just leave the deflector off. I actually emailed you regarding where you got the instructions from as they seem really useful!

Hi Mueed, I never got around to fixing it as it looked a pain fix so I just took the deflector off in the end. I don't use the sunroof that often so I'm not too bothered...

Hi, I have the same fault with my sunroof wind deflector. You mentioned you have instructions how to correct it, could I possibly get a copy. I’m an engineer so I have star keys and tools to get into most things. Much appreciated

Sadly Television (Malcolm) passed away last year- Lost Kiwi on here has a lot of his old files though I’m sure he’ll see this at some point

Hi, I have exactly the same fault on my E350, did you manage to get a resolution / fix on this problem any assistance would be most welcome, I am also an engineer so tooling is not an issue. Many thanks in anticipation
