W213: has anyone fitted a dashcam (sedan)

hi,
just got my new E220d, and it's lovely, i'd like to fit a dashcam but unlike my W212, there's no 12V socket in the glove compartment, which is a shame,

so, if I go about fitting one, what's the easiest way to connect one up, and if you've done it, do you have a guide/photos to share ?

I bought a long cable for my W212 and ran it round to go in the rear seat 12V point. It's pretty much hidden all the way and nobody has ever used the back one anyway.

yeah but i want it totally unseen, maybe someone has actually done it and connected it elsewhere

Hard wire it .... they're only a few quid/Kr from eBay and piggy back it to a fuse way within the car or splice it to the ciggy lighter 12 volt supply

I'll certainly consider this option but would love to see photos from someone who's actually done it on a W213, so that i don't break anything...
