W213 tyres up a size

Currently have 20 inch amg alloys which came with the car. Have the standard size 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rears.

A bit bumpy for London Road. Do you think I can go 40 in the front and 35 on the rears without and rubbing issues or with heavier loads?

I’d look for the standard 17’s that the E220d came with, much nicer from the drivers seat

I would, mine came standard with 20s as I have the AMG line. 17s would look weird with the sporty kit

If it’s the AMG line, I think the smallest rim is 18” that can fit over the front callipers. Really comfy on a recent E300de courtesy I had. Much better than my 19s so will be much better than your 20s!

You really need to go down a wheel size to up the ratio for comfort. 20” with rubber bands may look nice if you like that look but they’re not designed for comfort. An E220 doesn’t really need extreme rubber
