Hello,

Can not find a definitive answer on this one. I read a few posts that you can adjust the ride height on STAR - but I am curious whether it is possible to adjust the firmness (of the comfort setting) on STAR as well.

In my car, "comfort" feels a bit like (I think) Sport should. Admittedly, it has 18 inch wheels which I aim to replace sometime soon, but while I have them, is it at all possible to change the firmness of the suspension? Or is this set/read-only?

Thank You :)

Ok well as a last ditch attempt to get a total and definitive answer, i rang a guy who has the Developer version of STAR, and asked him this same question. Malcolm, Sir, you are correct. It is not possible. End of story.

Having said that, I find that strange. They CAN program the firmness of the settings (Comfort/Sport/Sport 2) but not customize them. Ah well...

All you could do is to fit AMG struts but a very expensive thing

Nah... time to get proper 16 inch rims and tires. Most likely will achieve what I am after, and for less than a grand.

The comfort (normal no lights on) setting on my w220 is nicely soft:)

It glides over bumps and pot holes.

I have 17 inch rims.

Cheers

If the damper valves have 2 orifices, that can be open or closed, that would explain how only 3 different damping settings are available.

Ride height however, obviously, is almost infinitely variable.
